We are pleased to announce that Marketing Engineering for Excel Release 1.6 is now available. We encourage instructors to take this opportunity to review the license status of their software to avoid any interruptions as you prepare and deliver classes during the upcoming term.
Release 1.6 contains no major functionality enhancements but includes the following:
- Release 1.6 enhanced our Bass estimation to better accommodate situations where market potential remains constant during the study period.
- Simplifies our license verification process to prevent the license validation from interrupting the user experience.
You can download the latest version of software from the download section of the website.

This 2010-2011 webinar series is targeted at new instructors and veterans alike. During each of these 45 minute webinars we will present the essential business problem proposed by a related Marketing Engineering case, demonstrate the use of Marketing Engineering to analyze the case, and wrap-up the session by interpreting the results of the analysis. These sessions will be "open mic" to allow new instructors to ask questions and veterans to share their experience with the case.
You may enroll in all your selected webinars by visiting our webinar page. You will receive a reminder prior to each session.

Effective January 1, 2010 we introduced new licensing options and pricing for the Academic Version of Marketing Engineering for Excel software.
Our previous licensing options remain available with some minor pricing changes and the addition of a 24 month license for individual student purchase.
To reduce costs for Universities that install the software in a campus computer lab only (no student install), we have introduced a Basic Software Package. This license provides software only for the number of computers on which the software is required (as compared to the number of students in class). No cases are provided with this option. Cases must be licensed separately on a per student basis.
All academic Marketing Engineering for Excel University software is licensed for a specific time period. The start of the University license time period is based on the first software activation (ie, if the first software activation on a one year license is January 1, all software associated with that license will expired December 31 regardless of when the remaining licenses are activated).
For complete information regarding 2010 licenses and pricing, please visit our University Purchased Software page.

The Marketing Engineering community has been served by two websites in the past (www.marketingengineering.com for academics and www.decisionpro.biz for practitioners). To avoid the confusion found by landing on different websites through search results, we have combined the two websites into one to better serve the needs of instructors, students, and marketing practioners. The MarketingEngineering.com website has been rolled into the DecisionPro.biz website where you will now find the familiar Instructors / Students sections to quickly get you to the materials you need. To ease the transition for instructors and students, the MarketingEngineering.com website will continue to operate this semester so any links you have published will continue to work. For features that are now only available on the new website (webinar registrations, support tickets, etc.), a link on the MarketingEngineering.com website will direct you to the appropriate new page.
All instructor accounts have been migrated to our new site, so no action is required. When you visit DecisionPro.biz, you may now login with either your previous username or email address to access the instructor-only materials. The following FAQ will provide you links on the new website to some of the most commonly used features of the MarketingEngineering.com website: Where do I find...
